Kyndall walked through the area, looking through the books. All the romance thrillers, they all looked interesting...But she couldn't choose. Giving a sigh, she looked to the cash register. No one working it. Giving a small head shake, she moved forwards, absorved in a single book.

Thomas really had no idea why he had entered the bookstore. Actually, he had no idea why he even entered the mall. There was no real point. He never really went shopping untill he had to, and he never really read books. He did physical stuff, got out into the fresh air...And now he moved to Heartlake, and that all changed. Not completely, of course, he still was very active...but he was in a book store...Strange how things work out.
Striding in, Thomas paid no heed to the books, he was going to go, grab a magazine, and get out. But then he saw her. Standing all alone over in the romance section. Normally, he would've just passed that off as a hopeless romantic looking for something she had never experienced...but there was something about her that drew him in. Forgetting about his magazine, he walked over next to her, glanceing at the book she was reading. Yep, a romance novel. "What in the h*ll am I doing?" too late now, words were already spilling from his mouth,"Umm, hey..I'm Thomas." Well, it was worth a shot...

The girl looked up from her book. She'd read enough to decide that she'd get it, but it could wait. Um, hey...I'm Thomas. She listened as he spoke. Nice to meet you Thomas. I'm Kyndall. She stated, offering her hand to shake. She took the book, sitting it in her side-bag for the time being.

Thomas took her hand, shaking it. He felt really large, as his hand completely enveloped hers. She was very petite, yet beautiful just the same. "The pleasures mine."he responded, totally aware of how cordial he sounded,"I'm new here, just moved last week, .....You ride?"It was just one of those things he could tell. If you were a horse person, Thomas knew it.

Kyndall smiled, looking to the large man. Welcome to Heart Lake Valley. I've lived here about a month. She stated, and took her hand back, resting it on her bag. Yeah, I do. You? She asked, looking towards the register. Now, someone was there. Why don they have shifts? She asked herself, ignoring the man for a moment. Turning back, she dismissed the thoughts.

Thomas nodded his head. Clearly, Kyndall hadn't noticed it, as her head had abruptly turned the other way, but Thomas had nodded, just the same."Yeah, I do. I have my whole life..and uh.." his vocals drifted off. It was also evident to him that she wasn't paying him any heed. Instead she was gazing out in the distance...well, the cash register. It was strange how no one was there... Oh well. It wasn't as if he cared. But Kyndall did. Thomas awkwardly just stood there. Then she turned back, yet, Thomas had no idea of what to say.

As Kyndall realized she'd looked away, she quickly turned her attention back to the boy. Please, excuse my rude manners. She stated, blushing slightly. Do carry on. she stated, believing he was unfinished with his sentance. If not, then certaintly he seemingly forgot what he was going to say.
