Ryan stood alone. The musky smell of this small town bookshop fell heavily around him, and he sighed softly. He held four books, two notebooks and a few pens and bopokmarks in his hands, and was making his way towards the wooden checkout, complete with antique till. He loved it here. The general feeling of immersing ones self in book was important to Ryan, and he checked again over the four titles. Black Beauty, because he'd somehow never read it. Two Italian Novels, because he was trying to improve. And a beautifully bound hardback, with red velvet across the cover. It was mysterious, yet enticing. He pushed the items down onto the counter, smiling up at Jack, the owner of the store. He paid quickly, handing over the crumpled notes and faded coins. He then began to browse once more, hoping maybe that someone would join him.

Now your world is way too fast Nothings real and nothing lasts And I’m aware I’m in love but you don’t care Turn your anger into lust I’m still here but you don’t trust at all And I’ll be waiting Love and sex and loneliness Take what’s yours and leave the rest
Resa had been lurking in one of the corners of the bookstore, browsing the shelves for sometime. She loved books; there's no beter escape, and boy did she need an escape.
It's strange that anger is usually forgotten when naming deadly sins. It was one of the largest. With something like gluttony, you could only hurt yourself; greed might cause you to hurt one or two more people along with yourself. But get anger involved and you were going to go down quick, and take a whole lot of people with you. Maybe some people think they can control it; but you can't keep it inside forever, and hwen it gets loose it's dangerous. After all, when it comes to the long list of destructive behaviors, it did make the top seven.
Anger had brought Resa here; or the repentence for it, rather. She needed to escape from repentence. She glanced away from the shelf she was standing in front of as she heard the cash register open, and her piercing grey eyes quickly took in the man paying and the titles of his books. She cocked an eyebrow as she read two of them, and when she saw him move back to the shelves to browse, she followed.
Resa jumped head first into things. She wasn't one for waiting around to see if other people invited her in. It was just her, perhaps a flaw, but her nonetheless, and something she hadn't once in her life apologized for, just like her tendency to occasionally be blunt. Resa's voice was a low hisper as she spoke to the man, in consideration of the others in the store as well as the mindset she got when she was in a place and surrounded by books. They were a sacred places, and not to be disturbed too greatly.

The man smiled as he sensed someone behind him, and turned to see a beautiful woman looking his way. He heard her speak, and nodded, taking out the two Italian Novels, showing them to her. Then, he answered, in the best Italian he could muster
Sì È una bella lingua.
He smiled over at her, then whispered his name, asking for hers, all still in Italian. It was odd, talking to a complete stranger in such a passionate and longing language, although Italian do it constantly. He pushed back his deep brown hair, his eyes warm and inviting. He was good looking, with a muscled and toned body, standing at just about six feet. A thin, dark blue tee clung to his slim frame, alogn with a destroyed and faded pair of jeans, finished by a loos eleather belt and a pair of old van slip ons.

Something of a smirk crept onto Resa's lips as the man replied to her and then asked his own question after giving his name. She looked over the books he showed her and handed them back before replying.
Il mio nome è Resa. Quando avete imparato l'italiano?
Resa watched Ryan, as he had said, carefully, noting all the details she found and filing them away with his face and name. As she waited for an answer she shifted the hem of her grey tank top, which read 'The Fratellis' across the front. From behind you could see one of her two tattoos, which depicted a white rose in a pool of blood, and under that it read 'Love in cold blood' in Italian.
Resa slid a hand into the right pocket of her jeans and glanced down to her paddock boots and then back to Ryan. She pushed a loose strand of jet black hair behind her ear, taking a glance sideways to look at one of her teal highlights.

Ryan nodded as she spoke, and replied quickly, the Italian rolling off his tongue as would his own native English. He answered her, smiling warmly, and speaking in soft tones. Poiché ero nove
Then, he noticed her shirt,a nd smiled further, seeign teh name of a band he liked. Something more the two appeared to have in common. The Fratellis were brilliant, and he loved the new sound they had. But more on his music taste later. Right now, Ryan was really enjoying Resa's company, and a warm smile spread across his features, even his eyes sparkled, as he asked another question, still in the language of love, as it was so well known.
Lei ama il Fratellis? Faccio. Non sono buoni come gli Assassini, comunque.
Yes, the Killers were definitely Ryan's favourite band, and he smiled as he reached into his bag, taking out a hoodie, with their names on, and pulling it on. He spun around slightly, laughing and pointing to his back, a warm glow of happiness in his masculine features.

Resa's lips curled into a smirk as she saw the look on his face and then when he recognized the words on her shirt. She listened as he spoke, forgetting his comment about when he'd learned Italian and focusing on his music talk.
Non so a tale proposito. Lo--
Resa was about to finish her sentence, but beofre she could the chime of the bell above the door to the store rang out, and a large wolf-looking canine came bounding in after a customer and headed straight for Resa. He stretched up, standing on his hind legs, and his forelegs easily reached over her shoulders. Not the fluffiest firs impression you'd ever see; more like rabid wolf. Once Resa had pushed him off and he was seated on the ground again, his tail thumping against her legs, he looked more like an expectant puppy. Resa looked to Ryan and the canine followed her gaze, noticing the stranger for the first time.
Sorry, Ryan. This is Eros. I'm not quite sure how he got out of the truck, here he is...
Eros cocked his head to the side momentarily. If Resa hadn't said anything, he'd be growling and bristling. Her tone had seemed friendly to the stranger, though, so he simply began to since his legs and hands, studying him carefully.

Ryan wat6ched in amazement as a wolf-like thing bounded up at Resa. However, having realized she knew how and why, he laughed, patting the dog fondly. He saw a lot of his own dogs in him. Ryan owned two beautiful Irish wolfhounds, but they were tied up outside. He reached again, scratching the area between the dog's ears. Then he looked up at Resa. Do you ... want to grab a a bite to eat? I can get my dogs and we can head off somewhere outside?
He blushed slightly, looking down at his shoes for a brief moment, before glancing up at Resa once more. A silent held between them for a moment, before he brushed back his hair, waiting on her answer.

Resa smiled as Ryan greeted Eros in turn, looking up to meet his eyes as he asked her to go out to eat. She repressed a smirk as she saw him blush and let the silence linger for a moment before she answered. Repentence indeed.
That sounds great. Let me pay for my books and get my other dog and then we can go.
Resa returned to her original corner and precariously balanced a large stack of eight books in her arms and hefted them to the counter. She payed for them, offering a friendly hello to Jack, before taking her things and standing by the door with Eros and turning to look expectantly to Ryan, waiting for him to follow.
The man nodded, smiling and patting Eros once more, before heading out to untie his own dogs. Conrad and Caliban jumped up at him, almost knocking him over, and he smiled widely, pushing them back, roughing their coats, scratching and patting his beloved dogs. Then, he sat down beside the bookshop window, his dogs either side.

Resa let Ryan go out the door before her, and followed him with Eros. The large canine, upon seeing the two new friends, immediately trotted over with perked ears to greet Ryan's dogs as Resa cocked an eyebrow. A wolf congregating with wolfhounds.
Resa turned toward the large Crown Victoria that was parked outside the bookstore. She found the passenger's window rolled down. Hopefully Eros hadn't broken thegears that moved the window when he'd pushed it down. In the back seat sat a large mound of fur and muscle, watching the figure carefully until she realized it was Resa. Then the large Keeshond rose and shook herself out, jumping out fo the truck and heading toward Ryan and Eros after Resa pointed her in their direction. The woman shut the door behind her and locked the truck before moving to where the group sat.
Riot, the Keeshond, was busy investigating the new people and animals, unsure as always of whether she should trust them or not. She and Eros were the same size as the wolfhounds, but an actual fight wasn't what Riot was ever afrid of. She knew she could hold her own, just as Eros. Resa noticed her worried attitude and reassured her quietly in Italian and she reluctantly accepted the new animals, as well as the human, but continued to watch them while remaining civil. Resa looked to Ryan, absent-mindedly scratching Riot's head as she spoke.
Alright, then, I think that's everybody. Where are we headed to?
Ryan smiled. He was already enjoying Resa's company, and he couldn't help but notice she was beautiful. Her locks of deep brown hair, her stunning eyes, her face, her figure... She was gorgeous. He looked up into those eyes now, and heard her speak, nodding slowly, looking around. Then, he rose, and his two dogs followed, turning to nod and sniff at the new three that were before them.
Theres a lovely nearby Italian.
Spoke the male, soft and husky tones with a hint of seduction. He chuckled to ease the tension this speech had created, and sighed, gesturing to the car. Yours, I take it?
He asked, patting Conrad as he spoke. Caliban, the more boitrous, jumped up at Resa and her dogs, barking hapilly. Ryan sighed, pushign him down, laughing and looking over at Resa, hopign she was OK.

Resa watched as he stood, listening as he spoke and liking the sound of his voice. Why don't you just--Your's I take it? It took a second for Ryan's words to register, but when they did she nodded and stepped toward the large black four-door truck. Where was her pickup, though? She'd had both last night, and-- Oh.
Resa mentally shook herself and refocused her attention to Ryan. Let's go. The dogs can stay in the back. Resa moved to the truck again, pulling an over-loaded key ring from her pocket. She hit a button and the headlights flashed and she moved to the back, Eros and Riot Following. She popped open the back and it rose over her head and she tapped the carpetting of the truck with her fingernails. Eros and Riot readily jumped in. The two sets of backseats were folded into the floorboard so the dogs could have room to move.
Resa stuck her head around the side of the car to look back to Ryan, Caliban, and Conrad. She motioned for him to bring the two dogs back so they could get in and they could all be on their way.
