A young female stood alone, her deep pink hair falling across her pale face. Her features were beautifully clear, her smile slightly distant now. Her deep brown eyes cast across this lake, her many layers of hair were toyed with in the soft wind, strips of black, white and pink across her delicate figure. Her soft curves were barely there in many places, as a slim and quite tall individual, but her waist was fairly obvious, and this was easily displayed now with her choice of clothing. She wore a tight black corset, leading onto a short black skirt. Layers of net, ribbon and lace adorned this outfit, and it fitted her perfectly, the Gothic looking clashing so heavily with her pink hair, emo fringe and various tattoos and piercings, that somehow, she had managed to pull together the perfect outfit. But what good was that with no-one else around her? None what soever, especially for one like Ceri, who loved her friends and family.
Yes, friend, that was what she needed now, certainly...

-Delilah had her camera around her neck, she was fairly bouncing off the walls. She hadn’t been here a whole day, and her mother would have been mortified at her her definition of unpacking. She had pretty much thrown everything in the closet, her art supplies scattered hither and yon.
Delilah’s hair was straight had a red ribbon was holding all the stray hair out of her face. Her iPOD was blasting Dashboard Confessional in her ears, she was one hyper kid. She clicked away, in one shot she got some girl’s back, she studied the hair, it was pink, she had always wanted to dye her hair pink, but had never done it for the simple reason of the roots.
The girl turned, she was gorgeous. Delilah wanted her face now. On paper, not like she literally wanted to steal the girl’s face that would just be totally weird. She pushed her bangs from her face, trying to calm down and act like a normal human being.

Ceri sensed someone behind her, and turned. A girl stood before her, about her own age, and gorgeous. She was slim and pretty, with freckles painting her pale tone and dainty features. Blonde hair fell just to her shoulders, and a red ribbon holding it back from her face. Something around her neck, but not a necklace, a camera. How interesting. Ceri didn't know what to say. It wasn't every day a beautiful girl just turned up to say hello.
Ceri smiled, before speaking, her voice soft.
Wow... I mean, umm . . . Hi.

-Okay so they had a little awkward moment, all Delilah could think to ask was if that was her real hair, but she couldn't do that without being super rude. Delly ruffled her real hair. Before lightly tugging on the bottom of her shirt, she seriously needed to get rid of the Hello Kitty shirt, she had out grown it years ago, but refused to get rid of it claiming she was one day going to make a t shirt quilt.
“Hello.” Her fingers’ fumbling with the camera’s many buttons before looking up to meet the girl’s eyes. Delilah was sometimes a little self conscious around beautiful people, especially with her different colored eyes and her many freckles. One time her youngest brother had tried to play connect the dots and on her arm and it had ended with her whole lower arm being red.

Ceri smiled as Delilah spoke, also looking down at the dew-sodden grass. She looked up once or twice, but her cheeks felt warm, and she sensed an easy blush creeping across her porcelain skin. A soft sigh escaped her, before the silence drew on. Well, she'd said hi, and so had this girl, what came next? Ceri couldn't exactly ask her out. Anyway, she was probably straight, making her way back to her stupid boyfriend's house. Ceri began drifting off, thinking silently. She bet he had stupid emo hair and stupid emo clothes, and they probably had stupid, emo, elbowy sex.
She raised a brow as Delilah looked up, and their eyes met for a second, Ceri half smiled, pushign thoughts of her hatred for Delilah's non-existent boyfriend out of her head. Silence a moment more, and then, it was broken.
I'm Ceri. You?

-Delilah wished she had some hot emo boyfriend to go cuddle up with. It had been a long time since Delly had been in a nice lengthy relationship, and she wasn't sure if she was ready for another one or not. Delilah pushed her blonde hair from her shoulder and let go of her camera her arms going across her chest, her eyes taking in everything and landing seldomly on the girl infront of her.
"I'm Delilah." She said simply, since when had Delilah introduced herself in those two words, she usually said something like,' i love waffles.' But apparently her little brain had come to an abrupt halt. She looked up and smiled a little. "I love the ducks." There was Delly, now she was crawling out of herself. "So how long have you been here?"

Ceri smiled. Delilah? It was pretty. It went around in her head for a moment, and, as she was good at names, she knew it was unlikely she woudl forget it. She smiled softly, before looking over to the vast lake, hearing Delilah speak. The ducks? Yup, they were rather cool. Especially the two by the trees, who seems to be eating a donut. Nice.
Yup. They're rad.
She smiled, laughing slightly, before noting Delilah had asked her a question. She thought back, and realized it had been only a week. But a long, and rather lonely one, with only Davi and Ryan. Ryan was off with his new girlfriend, and Davi with his fiance. And now, Ceri felt a little bit left out. But new friends could be made, if only she stopped daydreaming and acctually spoke.
I like monsters.
Damn, Wrong thing, wrong thing. He mind raced quickly, before she blushed and hurriedly spoke again, a little louder.
A week, you?

- Delilah smiled brushing her bangs from her face, “Yeah, I used to have a pet duck. Her name was Juliet.” Delilah was one of those weird kids who named everything, and usually it was long names that changed every time she said it.
“ I don’t like the monsters under my bed! I only like the cute fuzzy ones.” It was true Delly had a fetish for the strange. She actually made a monster when she was little, she sewed it and everything and she was just that hardcore, even as a little girl.
Delilah looked down to her conversed feet before looking back up to Ceri, and smiling softly. “Two days.” She fidgeted with her camera buttons again, before daring to sneak another peek at her lovely face

Ceri nodded, smiling and fumbling in her pockets for a moment, drawing out a group of seven small figures. They varied in colour, but were all about six inches tall. She smiled, showing them to Delilah.
Like these?
She giggled, shoving them back into her pockets, except for one. The figure she left behind was black, with blue patterns and red antennae. It was her favourite, and she held it tight whilst she continued talking.
I, umm.. I dunnew, do you kinda wanna like. Get some coffee.?

-Delly had been hyper earlier, and now she was acting shy, and sweet. Delilah and her shyness, it was something that always happened she was never really outgoing, she always held back a little. Always. Delilah gave a cute giggle. “Yeah just like those.” A smile had spread across her face.
Delilah was a cutie pie, and it wasn’t a hard thing to spot. Freckles danced across her skin, her light blonde hair, the slight curves of her little body, and that killer smile. The smile that took over her face, it started at her mouth and took over from there, it was in her eyes and it quite literally made the world go ’round. Okay so maybe that’s pushing it, but if you knew and loved Delilah that smile meant a heck of a lot to you, because you knew you had just provoked something precious and precarious. Delly wasn’t really a girly girl but she did tend to pamper herself at home facials, the ones you bought at wal-mart for ninety-nine cents, and bubbles baths she loved bubble baths.
Delilah looked up, the shyness all gone. Did Ceri understand what she was asking Delilah? Coffee, the bane of her mere existence, the stuff she lived off. “I would love to go get some coffee with you.” Well, well it appeared maybe Dellybean was finally getting over herself just a tiny bit. Delilah had known she was bi since she was fourteen, and no longer had problems with admitting to the fact, or hitting on other girls, well once she stopped being so lame and shy.
