she unloaded harper from her trailer that she had parked near her house. his head shot up and he whinnied. it echoed silently and he lowered his head, sniffing at the grass. the hay barn sat off to the side and was overflowing with oat hay, the staple diet of all of kay's horses. she clucked and walked off, harper followed. opening the first stall door on the left, she led him inside and unclipped his lead, letting him loose.
tossing in a good size flake of hay, she began unloading her tack room off her trailer and into the lounge area. harper ate happily and nickered as he heard his bucket of grain. as it was dumped into his feeder, she put a sheet on him and stroked him caringly.
