Boots clicked gently against the gravel drive. He was wearing the usual ettire of black boots, a matching hat, a button up white-kakhie shirt, and a pair of blue jeans. Deep down, he never wanted to change his dress, but it was common for him to look elsewhere for clothing that Tractor Supply Co.
Walking up to Sedona's door, he let his hand find his way to it. He gave a small sigh, waiting for Sedona to awsner.

Sedona's eyes flipped over the ceiling the millionth time that day. She could hear one of the horses in the pasture whinnying, and closed her eyes for a moment. When the horse quieted, she glanced to the window with a sigh, then sat up and began to pull her hair into a ponytail.
Just as Sedona pulled the ponytail holder off her wrist and into her teeth, she heard a knock on her door. She rose from the couch, hands still working to pull her mass of hair into a ponytail. With a bit of work she managed to turn the doorknob and get the door open with her elbow.
When Sedona saw Zach her eyebrows lifted and she smiled, speaking through the ponytail in her clenched teeth. Hey, come on in. I've gotta get my hair up. It was a bit jumbled, but still understandable. The woman kicked the door closed behind him and moved over to the couch, plopping down and motioning with an elbow for him to join her. She finally gathered all of her hair, twisting it quickly into a wild bun and crossing her legs indian-style on the couch as she let her arms down with a sigh of relief before turning to Zach. Hey babe, what brings you here?
Walking in, he saw Sedona's motion to sit. Gladly taking a seat, he rest his hands on the back of the couch, near Sedona. Can't stand a day without you. He stated with a smirk. He took off his black felt hat, setting it on the sofa just before letting his large hand toy gently with Sedona's locks.
A smile rested upon his face as he took another turn in speaking. Why gettin' all fancied up? He asked, nodding to her hair and then her outfit. Mighty fine lookin' today. He stated, giving a small touch on the shoulder before awaiting a reply.

Sedona cocked an eyebrow toward Zach as he spoke. She glanced down at her clothes; black, blouse, jeans, boots. What's idfferent. She shrugged it off, though, and brushed his hand away from her hair momentarily.
Sedona shifted on the couch, stretching out with her back on Zach's lap. Her head rested against the arm of the couch and her socked feet hung over teh arm, her legs crossed at the ankles as she looked up to Zach.
Sedona sighed lightly, blinking slowly before speaking. So are we doing something today? She reached back to pull her hair over her shoulder, twisting it through her fingers in an absent-minded way as she waited for an answer. She heard anotehr whinny from a pasture outside, and glanced to the window out of habit and her reflex; it had been built upon over the years, and she'd immediatly look up upon ever hearing a horse. Her intense eyes shifted quickly back to Zach as she waited.
Zach watched as the girl seemed to frantically find her way towards the window. Shifting his weigt on the couch, he listened. Do anything? he thought. Do you want to? We could go to town, go out for a ride...Anything, I'm up for it. He stated, giving a slight smile. He knew that he was an odd man, but so far, he had managed to befriend his old love once more.
Zach looked out the window, allowing himself to follow around the room and then back to Sedona. He hadn't any plans for the day, so it seemed that it'd be a great idea. Shopping... He muttered underhis breath. Something they seem to love more than horses... He finished to himself, waiting for a reply from Sedona.

Sedona shrugged her shoulders, moving back over to the couch. Right as she was about to sit down, she heard Zach mutter under his breath. She was pretty sure she'd heard what'd he'd said, but not completely, so she'd take the oppurtunity to make him nervous.
Sedona plopped heavily onto his lap for effect as she put on a face of mock-anger. Excuse me? What did you say?! She held the tone and expression long enough for him to answer, but then her angry frown spread back into something between a smile and smirk as she leaned her head back against the arm of the couch again.
Sedona looked around her living space briefly and then back to Zach. I wasn't suggesting we should do anything today. Goodness, no. I just didn't remember. I'll be damned if anyone's getting me off this farm today. I'm relaxing. As if to prove this point, she let her body go limp against Zach and the couch, refusing to move except to breath.
Zach tensed for a breif moment, thinking he'd done something wrong. When her stance returned semi-normal, he replied. That's a challange, eh? he stated, and felt her body seem to go motionless exsept for the occasional rising and falling of her chest.
He moved his hands away from his side, and attempted to move out from under Sedona. His attempt came, but not fully. Her legs still rested on him. So... He stated, giving a small laugh. Is it? He asked in a joking tone. Bet I could win. He finished, waiting for Sedona to object.

Sedona laughed slightly as he began to move. He didn't win completely, as her legs still rested on him. She lifted her head off the couch to look at him as he spoke, and her eyebrows arched.
Sedona turned her head coyly, a piece of hair escaping from the ponytail holder and framing the side of her face. Bet you couldn't. No one's getting me to do anything today.
Sedona collapsed back aganst the couch with dramatic effect, as if lifting her head had required exerting the same amount of force as when lifting a hay bale. She stared at the ceiling, ehr body going limp again, wondering if Zach was going to try something.
Even if it was something to do with...Oh say... He paused, waiting for the suspance to build. He hadn't a clue what would get her out of Stolen Moments...Not a single thought in his mind. Naw... He stated, giving a small sigh. I guess I'll have to tend to you all day here. He stated, giving a small smirk as he turned to Sedona.
Zach gave a smile. Yes your highness. He stated, and walked away towards the kitchen. He made a turkey sandwitch and found some watermelon in the refridgorator. Walking out with the paper-plate, he spoke and 'delivered' the meal. Dining for one tonight? He inquired, holding out the food. Hope it fancy enough. He stated, gently tugging on her jeans in a playful manner.

Sedona sat upa s Zach returned with the food, looking over it after accepting the plate. She wrinkled the nose at the watermelon. Had Angie snuck that into ehr fridge. Putting on a hoity-toidy voice, she picked the watermelon up with two fingers held it out to Zach.
What's this? This is not fresh, that's what this is. Repulsive. Take it away! Sedona pushed it back into Zach's hands before starting in on her turkey sandwhich like a fieldhand.
You sure? he asked, pulling the plate slowly towards himself. You know it wont go to waste. he stated and gave a small sigh. Weman these days...Nuttin makes then happy! He stated as if talking to himself, and looked around. He gave a small smirk and ate a peice of the watermelon. Repulsive...Right... he stated and looked to Sedona. She was putting on quite an act.

Sedona smirked as Zach began eating the watermelon. As she finished her food, she set the empty paper plate on her coffee table and stood, moving to the window. She unlocked and opened it, feeling the cold air, and her upper lip lifted intoa snarl. She disappeared into her bedroom, coming back out in black yoga pants and a long-sleeved sweater.
Sedona had now resolved that no would would even be getting her out of the barn. She'd brought a blanket with her and plopped onto the couch, huddling udnerneath it agrabbing teh remote before looking to Zach.
Fetch me a movie! Sedona motioned airly to her expansive DVD collection. Her arm droped back against the blanket and while she wiated for him to bring her a good movie she began busily tucking the blanket under so no cold air could reach her.
Zach walked over, poping a random movie into the disc-player and pressing the triangulare button. Moving back over to where Sedona was, he ploped onto the couch next to her, throwing his arm around her and successfully moving nearer. He gave a smile, waiting for her to object in so 'peasent stay far from royalty' type deal. It'd go right along with her act, which was acually causing Zach some second thoughts.
Shrugging it off, he gave a smile to Sedona before watching the previews for various shows.
