Angie Cathleen Scarlet Molly Mycroft Carter (Yes, really)
Angie, Cathy, Cat/Kat, Paw
32
Female
Her Whole Life
Angie is quite the looker. She’s looks for the most part like a classic Irish woman. Her hair is a auburn-brown color, and wavy. She’s fairly pale, but not in a pasty way. Her eyes are somewhat strange, because they change color; they can be blue, green, or grey, or mixture of two of the colors.
She’s a little taller than the average height, standing around 5’7” or 5’8”.
Angie has muscular arms and legs, especially her calves. Her nails are usually painted with strange patterns, her favorite of which is painting her nails bright blue and then putting a diagonal, blood red stripe across each one. When her mood changes, so does she; she make look very shy when first meet her, then another time she’s yelling at a rock concert. There’s really no telling. She looks delicate, for the most part, and this is the reason several people have ended up with broken bones after thinking they could take her on. That’s one mistake you shouldn’t make, and soon as you see her anger flare, you’ll know you’ve done something very, very wrong.
Angie doesn’t really have a particular style, really. Out on the town, she wears t-shirts and jeans. At the barn she wears tank tops or camisoles with jeans and chaps or jodhpurs. When she goes somewhere that she has to be dressed up, she looks great in that, as well. She does love to wear big earrings, her two favorite pairs being woven teardrop shaped and teal circles of dyed shell. As far as music goes, she can do just about anything. Anything except rap, that is. She’s draws the line there. Her favorites are probably rock and country, but she also listens to Indie, pop, alternative, and other things.
Angie’s not someone who’s going to take any shit at all, so don’t even think about trying it. She can take care of herself easily and knows pretty accurately when someone’s lying to her. She doesn’t like to be messed with, and if you do mess with her, you can be sure it won’t be for long. She can be amazingly nice and you can feel completely secure with her, and then the next she’ll be making you feel like you’re getting closer and closer to somewhere you don’t want to be. She’s completely dependable in every way, and if you’re stuck, she’ll get you out of the rut in a flash. She’s good at understanding and connecting with people of all ages. She’s very versatile, almost a split personality, except without all the strange psychopathic killings. As I’ve said before, very dependable when you need it most, but if you’re not on her side, she’ll rip the rug out from underneath and have you pinned before you know you’re on the ground (Metaphorically speaking, if you’re lucky).
Angie, at most times, simply holds an air of defiance. She’s normally a very stable person, but can at times be volatile. She’s the person most people go to for advice. Some good traits she holds include: determined and forceful; emotional and intuitive; powerful and passionate; exciting and magnetic. On her darker side however she can be: Jealous and resentful; compulsive and obsessive; secretive and obstinate. She can harness her abundant energy constructively, tempering her self-confidence with shrewdness and her ambition with magnanimity toward others provided they like them. As another character flaw, she can be blunt to those she dislikes to the point cruelty. In fact, she is not above expressing vindictiveness in deliberate cruelty. She can be too demanding, too unforgiving of faults in others, perhaps because she is not aware of the shortcomings within herself, and may extravagantly express her self-disgust in unreasonable resentment against their fellows. She does, however, make an excellent friend, provided that her companions do nothing to impugn the honor of which she is jealous. Part of the negative side of her nature is a tendency to discard friends once they cease to be useful, but she recognizes this, and fights this tendency fiercely. Her sensitivity, together with a propensity for extreme likes and dislikes, make her quick to detect insult or injury to themselves (often when none is intended) and easily aroused to ferocious anger. This may express itself in such destructive speech or action that she makes lifelong enemies by her outspokenness, for she finds it difficult not to be overly critical of anything or anyone to whom she takes a dislike.
Even when Angie appears self-controlled and calm there is a seething intensity of emotional energy under the placid exterior. She is like the volcano not far under the surface of a calm sea; it may burst into eruption at any moment. But those of us who are particularly perceptive will be aware of the harnessed aggression, the immense forcefulness, magnetic intensity, and often strangely hypnotic personality under the tranquil, but watchful composure she has. In conventional social gatherings she is pleasant to be with, thoughtful in conversation, dignified, and reserved, yet affable and courteous; she possess penetrating eyes which make her shyer companions feel naked and defenseless before them. She’s creative and imaginative, perhaps overly so, and sees through people quite easily. She also believes in several old Irish superstitions, such as a relative will die if a bird flies into your window or door and dies as a result of it.
Angie grew up in Georgia on an Anti Bellum plantation, and frequently visited Tennessee to visit others in her family. There was stable on the plantation, so of course she rode horses and took lessons. She also knew Sedona quite well in their younger days, and that’s why she’s working with her. She participated in several, umm, things that were of, umm, questionable legality. She has inherited the house in Georgia, but decided she wanted to see somewhere else for a little while, and that she’d move back when she got tired of wherever she went. For whatever reason, she’s ended up here, and has no notion of leaving very soon.
