Owner's Name : Audrey Shalen
Show Name : Queen Frostine
Stable Name : Candy
Age : 9
Gender: Mare
Years of training : Six and One Half
Breed : Appendix Quarter Horse
Coloring : Dapple gray coat, white mane and tail
Disciplines : Trail Riding, Speed Events
Personality: This is a sweet, motherly mare. She loves to nuzzle you for sweet treats and itch her head on your leg. Sometimes people say that Candy should not do western, but Audrey disagrees. Because this mare is so sweet and laid back, she wouldn't like to be pushed that hard for riding. Plus, Candy loves to run.
If Candy spooks, which is rare, it is a large upsetting spook. She will buck and rear trying to loosen the grip of her rider, and then tears around the arena. She sometimes scares the other horses, and then causes a stampede. But this is very rare. It takes a lot to scare this dapple gray mare.
History: Candy was born on a breeding farm that was sucessful and known for treating all their horses very well. So from the beginning Candy was spoiled. There she was trained in speed for the basics, then Audrey bought her at age three. Audrey knew this would prove to be a very nice horse to own and ride. They entered small shows and clinics here and there, and worked their way up to where they are now.

Show Name : Diamond In The Ruff
Stable Name : Patrick
Age : Seven
Gender: Gelding
Years of training : Five years
Breed : Anglo-Arabian
Coloring : Chestnut, chestnut mane and tail, white blaze
Disciplines : 3-Day Eventing, Showmanship
Personality: This is the most well-mannered gelding you will ever meet. He stands for any rider and gets flowing gaits when asked. He longes very well and loads into a trailer on his own. His nick-name is "Pee-Wee" because of his tremendous size. Sort of an oxymoron name. He is very mellow, and shows that the bigger they come, the gentler they are.
Patrick rarely every acts up. Sometimes he will nip the farrier or buck at a horse in the pasture on a rough day. Sometimes he is just all around grumpy after a large show. The worst he has done is taken off on the cross-country course when he spooked at another rider they had caught up to.
History: Patrick was given to Audrey as a sixteenth birthday present. She worked hard with her mom to raise and train him as close to perfection as possible. Audrey really doens't know where he came from, or his breeder. She just knows she raised and trained him as her own.
