Personality: Jack is a very curious horse. Although he is almost ten, this grey gelding acts like a five year old. He does not have that great of stable manners, but he is better than some horses. He loves getting into snacks and 'new' items around the barn. Jack seems to make friends with most of the horses here, but sometimes, the mares aren't too nice. Mostly because Jack enjoyed playing roughly with other horses.
The ring is nearly completely different. Jack is a gentlemen in the ring most of the time. He occasionally has his days when he is not feeling too hot. And, like all horses, he spooks. But, he is great over fences and is becoming a fantastic jumper. He has gone to 4' 6" and is steadily getting higher. He is an overall fantastic horse.
History: Jack began life at an old barn in Iowa. [nothing to do with Joe, yet] He lived with only two other horses, in which they were both retired racehorses. For some reason, the couple who owned him decided to try and train him to be a pro jumper. They ended up not having near enough experience and sold him to Joe when Jack was about 4 years. Jack was not completely trained yet, but Joe did a wonderful job with this horse. The two have been together ever since.
