A tall, slim figure stood, facing out towards the lake. Softly layered hair flooded her pretty features, and she sighed softly, brushing it back for the hundredth time this heavily breezy afternoon. She broke the empty silence reluctantly, as she enjoyed the softly echoing winds. The played about her, and lifted the mane and tail of the horse beside her. The silence had not even submitted to he, and he made not even one snort or whinny, just stood, letting the intoxicating, enveloping deepness of the day surround the pair. The horse was a deep bay, tassles falling in feathered locks around a shaped and muscled neck, leading onto a tall frame, with powerful legs and an incredible stride. Finally, raven black tail ended his bode, falling just above his hooves in melancholy waves.
Across the river, she could see a few couples, sitting, kissing, talking. She watched in silence as they would stare into each others eyes like nothing else mattered. She wanted that so much. The kind of love when no-one needs to talk, its just enough to know the other person is there. She had never had that, and it was what she truly needed.
She let her gaze fall to the shimmering ripples of Heart Lake, the name sake of the stunning valley that was now her home. Hopefully she would stay put here, with her horses and cats, her surgery and maybe some new friends. She did find it easy to make friends, but the prospect of a new place could worry even this girl. With her supermodel looks and quietly confident outlook, this one wouldn't be your stereotypical new girl, but looks could be deceiving...
The name? Anna Clark. A sensible name, with an overdose of professionalism. The kind of name that could never suit such an artistic and passionate person. How odd, how odd indeed.

Aly saw the girl standing there with her horse. She made her way from the front of this girl so she wouldn't scare her. Her fingers delicately placed her locks behind her ears as the blonde tassles whipped around in her face from the light wind. Her sparkling blue eyes glimmered in the sunlight as she finally reached the girl and looked into her eyes as she reached out her hand and said, "Hello I am Aly Robinson, I just moved here from New York. What is your name and where are you from?" Aly smiled brightly as she waited for the girl's name and where she was from.
Aly was now 24 and she was young and beautiful. She had looks that could kill. She used to be a model but she had to stop since she moved here. She was soon interested in buying a horse but she was going to get settled for now. She had sold her last one, she had been a thoroughbred mare. Aly mostly did english riding but sometimes she rode western but not a lot of the time.

Anna drifted out of her daydream as the silence was broken once more. But now, it was by someone else, and soon, Anna noticed they weer talking to her. At 25, Anna was still always on the look out for friends, and smiled softly as a girl who looked about 18 or 20n approached her. She shook the girl's hand awkwardly, and then nodded as she spoke, replying in her beautifully soft voice.
Its Anna. I'm 25, From Michigan.
She smiled again, her eyes growing warmer. She was incredibly beautiful, and this light played well with her complexion, which was pale and completely flawless. Now, her layered hair was finally brushed back, and she took a grip from her pocket, securing the brunette strands. She sighed, and patted her horse softly, then gestured to the river before her, asking Aly a question.
Have you lived here long?

Aly noticed that Anna was very pretty. She then listened to her question as she smiled. She noticed the river was beautiful and so was Anna's horse. The sunlight reflected off Aly's gleaming eyes as she looked up to Anna and spoke, "Well I just moved here actually from New York. I have been riding since I was nine though and I am just waiting to get settled in to buy a horse." Aly's voice was soft and friendly. She loved to meet new people but she was a little shy about it. She wanted to make new friends though so she had to learn how to be outgoing and speak to people. Her delicate features played along ever so somberly as she smiled and she looked to the water.

W A REvery foot placement was perfectly aligned with herself and the ground. Stepping on the moist ground with her enormous paws. Paws covered with water as they slid into the mud. Scampering down into the water of the lake, she looked to the side of the water and noticed two creatures on two legs. Something that this lioness has never seen before. She let out a frightening growl and hunkered in the water, thinking those two were threats to herself.
Sliding back out of the water, she walked the edge to wards the others that stood, talking to one another. She wasn't sure who they were, what they were, or how to deal with them. Nothing to do with them that she could think of, all she wanted to do was pounce on the creature and kill it, but she knew she would end up getting in trouble for doing so. She did the last time she attacked a human. She stopped at a rock and stared into the eyes of one of the others.

Anna took a steady step back from the beast before them, motioning with her hands for Aly to do the same. She then stared into War's eyes, silent and still for a moment. A trained vet, Anna knew how to handle any aggressive animal. She breathed deeply, keeping her eyes on the lioness at all times. She knew they were common in this part of America, but she didn't know they were this common.
Her heart was beating, and she took a step, towards the animal this time, hands still down, non threatening...

W A RThe steps away made the lioness calm down and she was now just full of curiosity, not in anymore threatening motion. Water dripped down from the fur on her visage, she shook herself a few times to get rid of the access water, the step closer to her made her growl once more. She hunkered down in a pouncing motion. Staying crouched she stared up at the woman. [/blockquote]

Anna noticed a stiffening in the lion's body. Tension seemed to ripple through it, and the lioness appeared ready to pounce. So now, although definite, Anna's actions were smooth, subtle and hopefully calming. She kept her hands visible, and low, so that the lion knew that Anna had neither a knife nor a gun. It was a small gesture, but an important one.
Easy
She murmured, soft yet audible, hoping the lion woudl pick up on her caring tone and love of animals.

Aly looked to the lioness and she remained calm. She knew that Anna knew what she was doing, so Aly kept her hands in sight of the lioness to let her know she had nothing also and that she meant no harm to her. Her eyes were off the lioness so that she did think that she was a threat to her. Anna had handled it how Aly would have. The creature was a beautiful sight and defiantly common around here. She had heard that anyways but she had never seen one, especially this close in the wild. She was glad that she was getting to know someone here. She didn't want to be alone in this new town. She still wished that she knew a guy around here though.
